Job Requirements
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety procedures
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Capability to perform repetitive movements such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
- Comfortable using computers, handheld devices, and cash registers
- Willingness to work a schedule that includes weekend shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Basic proficiency with electronic devices and cash registers
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales goals and adapt to changing priorities
- Positive attitude with a commitment to excellent customer service
Job Duties
- Greet customers warmly and engage in friendly, personalized conversations
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored product recommendations
- Maintain clean, organized, and attractive sales floor and fitting rooms
- Review and meet daily sales goals and performance targets
- Assist customers with fitting room needs and transactions
- Promote Macy's Loyalty program and share program benefits with customers
- Collaborate with team members to support a positive work environment and excellent customer service
