Job Requirements
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety procedures in English
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift at least 25 pounds, and perform repetitive movements
- Ability to operate electronic devices and complete register transactions
- Must be resourceful and able to adapt to changing priorities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn about products and promotions quickly
- Comfortable using electronic devices such as cash registers and handheld equipment
- Ability to work flexibility including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Positive attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction and teamwork
Job Duties
- Greet customers with warmth and engage in personal conversations to understand their needs
- Provide personalized product recommendations and assist customers in fitting rooms
- Maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable sales floor and fitting rooms
- Update signage and pricing to reflect current promotions and stock changes
- Achieve daily sales goals and contribute to overall store performance
- Communicate benefits of Macy's Loyalty program and encourage customer sign-ups
- Support team members with honesty, care, and collaboration to ensure excellent customer service
