Job Requirements
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers and teammates
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules in English
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Able to meet daily sales goal challenges
- Capability to lift at least 25 pounds and perform physical activities such as standing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and climbing ladders
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Comfortable using electronic devices and point-of-sale systems
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks required by the role
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales goals and work well in a team environment
Job Duties
- Greet and engage customers with a warm and personal approach
- Understand customer needs and offer personalized product recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting sales floor and fitting rooms
- Stay informed on current sales goals, promotions, and top-selling merchandise
- Promote and explain Macy's Loyalty program benefits to customers
- Support team members with honesty, care, and collaboration
- Achieve daily sales targets through effective customer engagement and smart selling behaviors
