Job Requirements

Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to understand and communicate employment policies and safety procedures in English
Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift at least 30 pounds, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and use close vision and color perception
Comfortable handling technology necessary for job functions such as cash register operations

Job Qualifications

At least one year of selling or customer service experience preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
Comfortable using electronic devices including cash registers and handheld equipment
Resourceful, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced retail environment
Enjoys working both independently and collaboratively within a team
Demonstrated interest in meeting sales goals and providing customer-centric service

Job Duties

Greet customers warmly and engage them in friendly, personal conversations
Understand each customer’s needs and provide personalized product recommendations
Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting sales floor and fitting rooms
Review and stay informed about sales goals, new arrivals, and current promotions
Collaborate with team members to support a positive and honest work environment
Achieve daily sales goals through effective customer engagement and selling strategies
Promote Macy’s Loyalty program benefits and complete sales transactions efficiently
