Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience
- Ability to work a flexible hourly schedule including weekends and holidays
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to handle cash accurately
- Ability to stand continuously and walk frequently
- Ability to lift and carry light to heavy items frequently
- Ability to perform physical activities required for stocking and store maintenance
- Good communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience
- Minimum one year retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred
- Desire and ability to deliver exceptional customer service
- Ability to provide fast, easy, efficient, and professional service
- Good common sense and basic mathematical aptitude
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Basic computer skills and cash handling experience
Job Duties
- Ensure all customers have an impeccable CHEF'STORE experience by developing and maximizing relationships with customers
- Perform sales and cash functions in the POS efficiently and accurately
- Perform cart-to-cart transfer and receipt checking duties
- Assist in receiving inventory, stocking shelves, and maintaining product quality
- Ensure merchandise is properly labeled and rotated
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of sales floor, front end, restrooms, parking lot, and store entry
- Participate in inventory and cycle counts and assist with price changes
- Perform store opening and closing functions as assigned
