Job Requirements
- Open schedule availability including weekends
- Minimum 6-12 months of retail cashier and/or stocking experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and carry varying weights continuously or frequently including up to 100 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk continuously
- Ability to perform various physical activities such as push/pull, stoop/squat, bend, reach above shoulder, twist frequently
- Must be motivated, adaptable, and able to multitask
- Basic cash handling and computer skills
- Ability to work part-time with flexibility and reliability
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 6-12 months of retail cashier and/or stocking experience
- Minimum one year of retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service and assist other employees
- Capability to provide fast, easy, efficient, and professional service
- Good common sense and logical thinking skills with basic mathematical aptitude
- Motivated and self-driven with multitasking and prioritization abilities
- Ability to work independently or within a team
- Flexibility to work holidays and weekends
- Basic computer skills and cash handling experience
- Proficiency in utilizing general office equipment
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
Job Duties
- Ensure all customers have an impeccable Chef'Store experience by developing and maximizing relationships with customers
- Utilize all tools and skills learned in the Chef'Store Way training and model the behavior in the store
- Perform sales and cash functions in the POS efficiently and accurately including scanning merchandise and weighing products
- Ensure that each item's barcode is accurately reflected in the system and report discrepancies to management
- Perform cart-to-cart transfer of products at checkout including visual inspection for tampering
- Perform duties as receipt checker verifying cart contents versus purchases
- Perform store opening and closing functions at the front end
- Work on the sales floor in departments such as Meat/Frozen, Produce/Dairy, Dry Goods/Culinary Equipment replenishing freight and rotating products
- Assist during special store events including vendor fairs and inventory processes
- Ensure the facility is well-maintained and safe by following safety policies
- Notify management of safety issues and correct them if possible
- Maintain cleanliness of sales floor, front end, restrooms, parking lot and store entry
- Gather carts from parking areas ensuring they are clean and operable
- Perform other duties as assigned by Store Management
