Job Requirements
- flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- ability to understand and communicate effectively in English
- meet daily sales goal challenges
- comfortable working with electronic devices
- capable of lifting at least 25 pounds
- able to stand for extended periods
- capable of stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, and reaching above eye level
- good vision including color vision and depth perception
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to handle electronic devices including cash registers
- customer-focused approach with a passion for meeting sales goals
- ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
Job Duties
- greet customers warmly and engage in personal conversations to identify their needs
- provide personalized product recommendations and assistance on the sales floor and in fitting rooms
- maintain a clean, organized, and inviting sales environment by recovering the floor and updating signs
- achieve daily sales goals through effective selling behaviors and customer engagement
- support team members by collaborating honestly and with care
- promote Macy's loyalty program and ensure customers have all they need before completing sales
- participate in ongoing learning and development to improve sales skills and store performance
