Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and handle physical tasks
- frequently lift and move items up to 50 pounds
- occasionally team lift over 100 pounds
- ability to work in environments with pet hair, moving mechanical parts, and variable noise levels
- willingness to follow company policies and procedures
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- engage with pet parents and pets to provide positive experiences
- answer questions throughout the store
- prepare online orders for in-store pickup
- feed, water, and clean habitats of store owned pets
- maintain cleanliness standards throughout the store
- support pricing updates and promotional activities
- merchandise products according to sales floor plans
- recommend and sell products, services, and live animals
- administer medications to store pets as directed
- promote special events such as adoption weekends and charity events
- ensure a safe environment for associates, pets, and customers
- take immediate action when a sick or injured pet is identified
- assist in various store areas including services
- participate in company culture of belonging and recognition
- follow all company policies and procedures
