Job Requirements
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety procedures in English
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
- Capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to perform physical activities such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, and reaching above eye level
- Vision capabilities including close vision, color vision, and depth perception
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail sales experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficient with electronic devices including cash registers
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Job Duties
- Greet customers warmly and engage them with personalized product recommendations
- Understand each customer's needs and provide sincere assistance on the sales floor and in fitting rooms
- Maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable sales environment
- Review daily sales goals and stay informed about current promotions and trends
- Collaborate with team members to support a positive, service-oriented work culture
- Promote Macy's Loyalty program and drive sales to meet targets
- Process transactions accurately using register and handheld devices
