Job Requirements
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to understand and communicate in English effectively
- Capable of reading and understanding employment policies and safety procedures
- Ability to meet daily sales targets
- Ability to use electronic devices such as cash registers
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift at least 25 lbs
- Willingness to perform physical activities including stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders and reaching
- Excellent vision and focus adjustment required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Basic proficiency with electronic devices and point-of-sale systems
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
- Enthusiasm for meeting people and delivering excellent customer experiences
Job Duties
- Greet and engage customers with warmth and professionalism
- Understand customer needs to provide personalized product recommendations
- Maintain clean, organized, and inviting sales floor and fitting rooms
- Update signage and pricing to reflect current promotions
- Achieve daily sales goals through effective selling techniques
- Collaborate with team members to support store operations and customer service
- Share Macy’s Loyalty program benefits and complete customer transactions with accuracy
