Job Requirements
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers and supervisors
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety procedures in English
- Ability to meet daily sales goals
- Comfortable with electronic devices and cash registers
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift at least 25lbs, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders
- Ability to focus visually and adjust to depth and color perception
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Basic proficiency with electronic devices and point-of-sale systems
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets
- Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team
Job Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized product recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting sales floor and fitting rooms
- Achieve daily sales goals through effective customer engagement and selling strategies
- Support teamwork by collaborating honestly and respectfully with colleagues
- Share information about Macy’s Loyalty program and promote its benefits
- Handle electronic devices and cash register transactions efficiently
- Assist with merchandise moves and update signage and pricing
