Job Requirements
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety procedures in English
- Physical capability to stand for at least two consecutive hours
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs and perform physical tasks such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities
- Comfortable working both independently and within a team environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer and technology proficiency
- Comfortable with using handheld devices and cash registers
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet and engage customers with warmth and personal attention
- Understand customer needs and provide personalized product recommendations
- Maintain clean, organized, and inviting sales floor and fitting rooms
- Update signage and pricing accurately
- Support merchandise moves and floor recovery
- Achieve daily sales goals and participate in performance reviews
- Promote Macy's Loyalty program benefits and ensure customer satisfaction at checkout
