Job Requirements
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to understand and communicate in English
- Must be able to read and comprehend employment policies and safety rules
- Ability to meet daily sales goals and work under pressure
- Ability to handle electronic devices and cash registers
- Capability to lift at least 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach above eye level
- Good vision including close vision and color perception
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Basic proficiency with electronic devices and point-of-sale systems
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of current fashion trends and promotions is a plus
Job Duties
- Greet customers with a warm welcome and engage in friendly, personal conversations to build relationships
- Understand and communicate effectively product knowledge, promotions, and services to customers
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and fitting rooms by recovering merchandise and updating signage
- Assist customers with personalized recommendations and fitting room support
- Achieve daily sales goals and support store performance through smart selling behaviors
- Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service and support store operations
- Finish transactions professionally while promoting Macy's Loyalty program and thanking customers by name
