Job Requirements
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety procedures in English
- Capacity to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
- Adequate vision including color vision and depth perception
- Competency in using computers and handheld devices necessary for job functions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic proficiency with electronic devices and point-of-sale systems
- Ability to achieve sales goals and work in a team environment
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and adapt
Job Duties
- Greet customers warmly and create personal connections to build loyalty
- Understand and communicate product knowledge to provide personalized recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable sales floor and fitting rooms
- Meet and strive to exceed daily sales goals and performance targets
- Communicate the benefits of Macy's Loyalty program to customers
- Assist in merchandising efforts including updating signs and managing product displays
- Collaborate with team members to support store operations and deliver excellent customer service
