Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in handling and butchering imported seafood beef and lamb products fresh and frozen
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand up to 80 percent of the time
- Ability to reach up to 20 percent of the time
- Ability to lift up to 15 percent of the time
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of butchery of imported natural seafood beef lamb and pork fresh and frozen
- Safe Serve Certified or willing to become certified within 30 days of being employed
- Previous customer service or cashier experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and operate with a sense of urgency
- Maintains a positive attitude with an excitement for the product
Job Duties
- Greet and engage customers providing excellent customer service in person over the phone or via email correspondence
- Assist with maintaining inventory in the marketing area and taste/commissary kitchens by pulling product from showcases or the warehouse
- Assist customers with any questions they may have regarding their purchases
- Process customer orders as required including weighing pricing scaling and cutting product
- Handle cash and credit card transactions maintaining the register with sufficient change
- On occasion drive to other store location to complete tasks such as moving items cleaning dishes scrubbing floors picking and packing orders for next day delivery
- Assist company chef in the kitchen as needed
- Promote and explain daily specials and Giuseppe's Seven Fish Club to all customers
