Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- able to work a flexible schedule based on the store's needs
- willingness and ability to engage with customers and understand their needs
- ability to collaborate and work cooperatively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
- capacity to manage conflict reasonably and nonconfrontationally
- integrity in handling customer and business information
- physical ability to lift/move materials weighing 10 to 50 pounds, climb ladders, stand and walk for extended periods
- availability to work part-time as required
- eligibility to work in the country without visa sponsorship from Staples

- customer service or cashier experience in a retail environment preferred but not required
Job Duties
- multitask on cashier, sales, and merchandising responsibilities
- respond quickly and resourcefully to customer requests and concerns
- create a positive, inviting environment for customers
- understand and use basic selling skills to engage and present solutions
- handle returns and online pick-ups
- be flexible on responsibilities (e.g., cleaning, stocking shelves, other duties as assigned)
