Job Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- at least two years of prior retail sales experience
- ability to stand for 4-6 hours consecutively
- ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- ability to bend, stoop, reach and grasp
- ability to work flexible shifts including days, nights and weekends
- comfortable working independently with limited supervision
- ability to make decisions based on store policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- at least two years of prior retail sales experience, including using a POS cash register, opening and closing stores, making end of day deposits, merchandising product and following a planogram/floor layout
- ability to stand for 4-6 hours consecutively, lift up to 30 lbs of product, bend, stoop, reach and grasp
- ability to work a flexible shift, including days, nights and weekends
- comfortable working independently with limited supervision and making decisions based on store policies and procedures
Job Duties
- Opens and closes the store following department procedures
- counts cash register at beginning and end of day, completes cash handling reports and bank deposits
- processes and handles payments for merchandise via Point Of Sale cash register
- provides excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering the telephone, taking phone orders, giving directions, handling complaints and requests and assisting the customer with the appropriate selection of merchandise
- maintains terminal and work area by dusting, sweeping and light cleaning
- stocks, organizes, and displays merchandise per manager's direction
- accurately completes required receiving paperwork as needed
- performs related responsibilities as required
