Job Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • at least two years of prior retail sales experience
  • ability to stand for 4-6 hours consecutively
  • ability to lift up to 30 lbs
  • ability to bend, stoop, reach and grasp
  • ability to work flexible shifts including days, nights and weekends
  • comfortable working independently with limited supervision
  • ability to make decisions based on store policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • at least two years of prior retail sales experience, including using a POS cash register, opening and closing stores, making end of day deposits, merchandising product and following a planogram/floor layout
  • ability to stand for 4-6 hours consecutively, lift up to 30 lbs of product, bend, stoop, reach and grasp
  • ability to work a flexible shift, including days, nights and weekends
  • comfortable working independently with limited supervision and making decisions based on store policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Opens and closes the store following department procedures
  • counts cash register at beginning and end of day, completes cash handling reports and bank deposits
  • processes and handles payments for merchandise via Point Of Sale cash register
  • provides excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering the telephone, taking phone orders, giving directions, handling complaints and requests and assisting the customer with the appropriate selection of merchandise
  • maintains terminal and work area by dusting, sweeping and light cleaning
  • stocks, organizes, and displays merchandise per manager's direction
  • accurately completes required receiving paperwork as needed
  • performs related responsibilities as required
