Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior retail or customer service experience preferred
- ability to move continuously for 6-8 hours, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching
- capability to handle and lift bulky items and merchandise up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
- flexibility to work various shifts based on business needs
- accountability and strong ownership of responsibilities
- excellent communication skills

Job Duties
- work with the team to ensure the salesfloor stays runway ready through re-merchandising and straightening
- assist customers with cashiering across in-store, online and mobile platforms including operating point-of-sale systems and bagging items
- create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting and assisting customers and sorting clothing
- maintain a clean and clutter-free salesfloor by sorting and returning merchandise
- keep stockrooms organized, check in merchandise and ensure accurate ticketing
- demonstrate expertise in store technologies
- adhere to operational, merchandise and asset protection standards
- promote Nordstrom Rewards program initiatives
