Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Capacity to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Physical stamina to perform continuous movement such as bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching
- Ability to handle bulky and awkwardly shaped items, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Basic proficiency with technology
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service

Job Duties
- Work with the team to ensure the salesfloor stays runway ready through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day
- Assist customers when cashiering with a variety of transactions including operating a point-of-sale system, bagging items, handling bulky items, and ensuring a seamless and friendly experience
- Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting and assisting customers and sorting and returning clothing to the floor
- Create a clean and clutter-free customer experience by sorting and returning clothing to the salesfloor
- Keep the stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed
- Demonstrate expertise in all technologies used in the store environment
- Adhere to all operational, merchandise and asset protection standards
- Promote initiatives like Nordstrom Rewards program
