Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends and holidays
- Basic proficiency in technology and inventory systems
Job Qualifications
- Clear, effective communication with strong interpersonal skills

- Organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds for stock support or fulfillment role
- Flexibility to work a schedule based on business needs
Job Duties
- Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers and taking them to their fitting rooms, then sorting and returning clothing to the floor
- Motivate and inspire others to adopt initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program
- Keep the stockrooms organized and complete all inventory processes, making sure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed
- Work with the team to ensure the sales floor stays runway ready through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day
- Assist customers with a variety of transactions through a seamless and friendly experience
- Demonstrate expertise in all technologies used in the store environment
- Defuse customer situations and provide resolutions in a timely and effective manner
- Receive, unload freight, unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments
- Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards
- Prepare and ship customer orders following quality, packing and shipping standards
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes
- Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
- Provide general support to the store such as setting up special events, organizing backroom, markdowns, and relocating store fixtures
