Job Requirements

  • Ability to remain standing for long periods

  • regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
  • ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders
  • must comply with federal, state, and local legal job requirements
  • ability to perform physical tasks required in a retail store setting including handling stock and participating in cleaning duties

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • engage clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
  • demonstrate and instruct craft projects and perform face painting
  • facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons
  • communicate with clients and store team members about events
  • complete administrative tasks like answering emails and phone calls
  • adjust event plans based on client feedback
  • create backup or emergency plans
  • ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
  • uphold cleanliness and safety standards before and after events
  • assist customers in locating products and provide solutions
  • provide fast and friendly checkout experiences
  • engage customers in rewards programs and complete enrollments
  • educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys
  • assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes
  • participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
  • complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
  • perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
  • support shrink and safety programs
  • adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
  • interact respectfully with others and promote company values
  • cross-train in custom framing selling and production
  • participate in daily store cleanliness activities including sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting
  • perform other duties as assigned
