  • 3 plus years of retail leadership or customer-focused environment experience
  • full-time availability with schedule flexibility to include evenings weekends and holidays

  • ability to stand walk climb ladder and use hands for handling and writing
  • frequently required to reach stoop kneel crouch talk and hear
  • must lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally team lift more than 100 pounds
  • exposure to moving mechanical parts wet environments pet hair and noise
  • must be over 18 years old except where otherwise required by law

Job Duties

  • participates in recruiting interviewing and coaching associates
  • facilitates associate experience and supports associate development including training onboarding reviews labor management mentoring succession planning and accountability coaching
  • addresses and administers associate complaints and grievances
  • prioritizes delegates and validates daily tasks for associates to meet business and pet parent needs
  • leads and coaches associates on operational processes to ensure pet safety and health
  • coordinates staffing coverage for key store areas such as pet care maintenance hotel and salon cleaning
  • validates completion of operational messages and engagement video compliance
  • communicates company information and priorities to associates for alignment and expectation delivery
  • recognizes and celebrates associates to enhance engagement
  • oversees healthcare of store-owned pets including maintenance feeding watering cleaning and care for sick pets
  • manages inventory and pricing processes ensuring accuracy receiving stocking restocking counts product rotation and planogram sets
  • evaluates operations and seeks continuous improvement opportunities
  • maintains vendor relationships backroom standards and communication boards
  • manages Buy Online Pick Up In Store and Ship From Store programs
  • analyzes sales trends and merchandises accordingly
  • enforces store standards for compliance cleanliness and ethical conduct
  • ensures safe environment for associates pets and customers
  • takes immediate action on sick or injured pets
  • shares responsibility for store opening closing and handles escalated pet parent concerns
  • drives business growth and holds associates accountable for sales and shrink targets
  • analyzes inventory reports to identify trends and improvements
  • manages store expenses including labor and supplies
  • collaborates with Home Office to submit and track work orders and purchase card allocations
