Job Requirements

  • a background in food service or culinary management
  • ability to manage multiple priorities
  • ability to demonstrate professional communication skills
  • ability to mentor, train, and coach frontline staff
  • minimum education requirement of associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum management experience of 2 years
  • minimum functional experience of 1 year in concessions, retail sales, or store operations

Job Duties

  • create and deliver innovative and enriching café experiences for patients, family and staff daily
  • deliver high quality food service
  • mentor, develop, and retain frontline staff
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships
  • direct daily operations of food quality and customer service in a retail food operation that may include branded concepts ensuring that employees have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources
  • manage cash handling protocols and control procedures according to Sodexo policies
