Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Greet and assist customers
  • ensure appointments are scheduled according to guidelines
  • answer patient questions and phones
  • check patients in and out
  • maintain patient records
  • collect payments
  • monitor and perform front desk tasks
  • confirm appointments and insurance pre-authorizations
  • contact no-shows for rescheduling
  • develop and facilitate receptionist training with management
  • cross train in retail area as needed
  • call for insurance preauthorization and follow up
  • maintain reception area cleanliness
  • maintain doctor referral logs
  • offer promotions and starting prices to customers
