Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to understand and communicate workplace policies in English
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift at least 25 pounds, and perform repetitive reaching and crouching
- Comfortable using computers and handheld technology
- Must be able to engage customers warmly and provide tailored recommendations
- Meet or surpass daily sales goals
- Responsible for credit account acquisition and loyalty program promotion
Job Qualifications
- At least one year of customer service or selling experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
- Friendly and warm demeanor with a passion for beauty products and fragrances
- Knowledge of fragrance notes, layering, and product usage preferred
- Comfortable using point-of-sale technology and digital tools
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Strong interpersonal skills to build lasting customer relationships
Job Duties
- Create a warm and welcoming environment through genuine hospitality and exceptional customer service
- Engage customers with personalized fragrance recommendations reflecting their style and preferences
- Demonstrate and sell a wide range of fragrances and beauty products educating customers on notes and usage
- Maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable sales floor including merchandising and inventory management
- Utilize point-of-sale and mobile selling technology efficiently to process transactions
- Drive sales and loyalty by using clienteling tools and promoting Macy's loyalty program benefits
- Collaborate with team members to support a positive work environment and achieve sales goals
