Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • two years of experience in institutional or commercial food preparation
  • one year of supervisory experience
  • ability to follow detailed oral and written instructions
  • ability to direct and manage work of others
  • knowledge of food safety and health regulations
  • ability to maintain accurate records
  • ability to apply mathematical concepts
  • communication skills
  • physical ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
  • willingness to work varying hours

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • supervise staff to ensure food preparation, presentation, and safety standards are met
  • assess service quality and customer satisfaction
  • enforce compliance with university policies and health regulations
  • support training and onboarding of new staff
  • manage daily operations including ordering and inventory
  • foster a positive work environment
  • ensure adherence to safety and security protocols
