Job Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED equivalent
  • Two years of experience in institutional or commercial food preparation, including one year of supervisory experience
  • Ability to follow detailed oral and written instructions
  • Ability to direct and manage the work of others
  • Ability to maintain records and complete forms accurately
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts to complete tasks
  • Considerable knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment used in large-scale food preparation
  • Knowledge of health hazards and necessary precautions in food preparation and service
  • Knowledge of food values and menu planning
  • Ability to train personnel in equipment care and standard practices
  • Knowledge of safety and security precautions appropriate to the work performed

Job Qualifications

  • Uphold high standards for food quality and service
  • Assist with training and onboarding of new team members
  • Manage inventory and place product orders
