Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Food service management experience required
  • Ability to work on-site in Providence, RI
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19, influenza, MMR, Varicella and Hepatitis B
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in food service management required
  • Retail food service management experience preferred
  • Experience with marketing, merchandising and cash handling preferred
  • Strong customer service and computer skills required
  • SERV Safe certification preferred or willing to become certified

Job Duties

  • Manage front of house dining operations including cafeteria, food court, and quick service
  • Develop and implement retail services plans to improve service, quality and profitability
  • Maintain effective working relationships with other departments to provide a unified retail experience
  • Manage marketing, merchandising and cash handling procedures
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards
  • Maintain client and customer rapport for business relationships
  • Drive customer service and respond to survey results
  • Supervise employees including hiring, discipline, performance reviews and pay increases
  • Assist in forecasting and accounting while tracking sales trends
  • Implement specials, limited-time offers and coordinate pop-up restaurants
  • Manage catering operations including menu planning, staffing, setup and client coordination
