Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in retail or customer service
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift, carry, reach, and use ladders
- Ability to engage with customers of all ages
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Ability to comply with company policies and safety standards
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in event planning and coordination preferred
- Experience working with children and children’s events
- Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Retail and/or customer service experience required
- Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with diverse individuals
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality
Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- Engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
- Demonstrate and instruct craft projects, perform face painting and other activities
- Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons
- Communicate event details with clients and store team members
- Complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
- Adjust event plans based on client feedback and develop backup plans
- Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards
- Assist customers in shopping and product location
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- Promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments
- Educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
- Support truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
- Complete merchandise recovery and store maintenance
- Perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
- Participate in safety and shrink programs
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
- Maintain a positive, respectful approach in all interactions
- Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production
- Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
