Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with children and children’s events
  • Retail or customer service experience required
  • Must have good communication skills including written, verbal, and listening
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and reaching
  • Must be able to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • Ability to interact positively and respectfully with others
  • Must comply with applicable federal, state, and local legal requirements
  • Willingness to perform job tasks including physical and customer service duties

  • Retail or customer service experience

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • Engage clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
  • Demonstrate and instruct craft projects and party activities such as face painting
  • Facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons to company standards
  • Communicate with clients and store team members about events
  • Complete administrative tasks including answering emails, making phone calls, and paperwork
  • Adjust event plans based on client feedback and create backup plans
  • Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards before and after events
  • Assist customers in shopping and locating products
  • Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience
  • Promote rewards program and credit card enrollments
  • Educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys
  • Assist with omni-channel processes such as BOPIS and Ship From Store
  • Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
  • Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
  • Perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
  • Support shrink and safety programs
  • Adhere to SOPs and company policies
  • Interact respectfully and positively with others
  • Cross train in custom framing selling and production
  • Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned
