Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in retail or customer service
  • experience working with children’s events

  • ability to handle stress and work effectively with diverse groups
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to lift and move merchandise including heavy boxes
  • ability to use ladders safely
  • capability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously

  • willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • engage participants of all ages to create a fun and creative atmosphere
  • demonstrate and instruct craft projects and perform face painting
  • facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons according to company standards
  • communicate event details with clients and store team members
  • complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
  • adjust event plans based on client feedback
  • create backup plans for emergencies
  • ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
  • uphold store cleanliness and safety standards by setting up and cleaning before and after events
  • assist customers with shopping and locating products
  • provide fast and friendly checkout experiences
  • promote Rewards program and credit card enrollments
  • educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
  • assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes
  • participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and merchandise recovery
  • perform store in stock optimization and AD set duties
  • support shrink and safety programs
  • adhere to company policies and standards
  • interact respectfully with customers and team members
  • cross-train in custom framing selling and production
  • participate in store cleanliness activities including sweeping and restroom maintenance
  • perform other duties as assigned
