Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in event coordination or retail environment
- Ability to remain standing for long periods and perform physical activities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Capacity to lift heavy boxes and use ladders safely
- Must comply with federal, state, and local legal employment requirements

- Retail and/or customer service experience
- Experience working with children and children’s events
- Excellent people skills
- Good communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal
- Organizational skills and creative problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children's birthday parties and craft classes
- Engage with clients of all ages by fostering a fun and creative environment
- Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and activities such as face painting
- Facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons according to company standards
- Communicate event details with clients and store team members
- Complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
- Adjust events based on client feedback and create backup plans
- Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards
- Help customers shop and find products
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experiences
- Promote Rewards program and credit card enrollments
- Educate customers on surveys and Omni channel services like BOPIS and Ship From Store
- Participate in truck unload and merchandise stocking
- Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
- Support shrink and safety programs
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Maintain positive interactions and serve as a role model
- Cross-train in Custom Framing sales and production
- Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
