Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in retail or event coordination
  • ability to stand for long periods of time
  • ability to move throughout the store
  • ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly
  • ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using equipment like ladders
  • excellent communication skills
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to interact positively and respectfully with customers and team members
  • willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • legal eligibility to work in the U.S.

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes or events
  • engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
  • demonstrate and instruct party participants in the completion of craft projects and perform face painting and other activities
  • facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards
  • communicate events with clients and store team members
  • complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and paperwork
  • adjust plans and events based on client’s feedback and needs
  • create backup or emergency plans as needed
  • ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
  • uphold company’s cleanliness and safety standards, set up, break down, and clean before and after each event
  • help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
  • provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
  • educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
  • assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
  • participate in truck un-load, stocking and planogram processes
  • complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
  • perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
  • support shrink and safety programs
  • adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and Company programs to ensure compliance
  • interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner
  • cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
  • participate in daily store cleanliness activities
  • perform other duties as assigned
