Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree in related field
  • Two years of experience in food service management
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Knowledge of large-scale food preparation
  • Knowledge of food safety practices
  • Skilled in advanced food preparation techniques
  • Ability to train and supervise staff
  • Commitment to compliance with documented service and production standards

  • Extensive knowledge of large-scale food preparation
  • Skilled in advanced food preparation techniques
  • Experience with food service management and sanitation standards
  • Skilled in training, supervising, and evaluating staff
  • Strong commitment to compliance with service and production standards
  • Ability to recognize when to seek assistance
  • Previous experience in retail food service management preferred
  • Experience managing branded concepts (e.g., Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, Burger King) preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversees food quality and presentation to ensure alignment with established standards and the expectations of the campus community in the assigned retail dining location
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance service quality and refine food offerings based on supervisory feedback
  • Provide comprehensive training by equipping staff with the skills needed for exceptional service and food safety
  • Creates a collaborative and supportive team culture that encourages open communication and employee engagement
  • Adheres to all University policies, health codes, and safety standards, regularly reviewing practices to ensure adherence
