Job Requirements

  • Must be over the age of 18
  • 2+ years of retail experience in customer-focused roles
  • Full-time availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to handle cash and operate POS systems
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Willingness to work in environments with exposure to noise, live animals, and pet hair

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Full-time availability with flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Facilitates associate experience and supports development through training and mentoring
  • Validates completion of operational messages and engagement video compliance
  • Leads and directs associates as Leader on Duty
  • Addresses and administers associate complaints and grievances
  • Responsible for pet parent experience and responding to concerns
  • Promotes and coordinates store events and marketing for adoptions and vet partnerships
  • Operates point-of-sale systems and handles cash transactions
  • Maintains store standards and ensures compliance to policies and code of ethics
  • Ensures a safe environment for associates, pets, and pet parents
  • Maintains cleanliness and merchandising standards
  • Assists in other departments and follows all company policies
