Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • 6+ months of specialized experience
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • meet all FedEx Office employment qualifications at time of hiring
  • meet hiring criteria and transfer requirements if currently a FedEx Office team member
  • ability to stand during entire shift excluding meal and rest periods
  • ability to move and lift 55 pounds
  • ability to bend and twist at waist and knees consistently
  • ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members
  • ability to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction
  • ability to function in fast-paced environment under substantial pressure
  • ability to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Follow instructions of supervisors and assist other team members in performing store functions
  • assist in training of store team members
  • demonstrate consultative behaviors to understand each customer’s needs
  • provide expertise in printing, signs and graphics, and shipping product lines
  • provide outstanding customer service by anticipating needs and suggesting solutions
  • ensure all customer problems are resolved quickly and satisfactorily
  • take complex customer orders and provide accurate pricing information
  • assemble parcels and prepare goods for shipping
  • set up and operate printing, binding, and other related equipment
  • maintain a safe, clean and orderly retail store
  • ensure confidentiality of customer data and handle documents and packages carefully
  • process financial transactions using point of sale terminal
  • clean, repair, and stock printing and shipping equipment and supplies
  • stay current on merchandising materials and ensure proper product display
  • take preemptive action to prevent errors and waste
  • complete required financial paperwork and assist with financial reporting
  • follow FedEx Office procedures and policies including legal, HR, and safety standards
  • perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • look for opportunities to improve knowledge and skills
  • operate with minimal supervision
  • adhere to FedEx Office team member and store standards
  • perform other duties as assigned
