Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Six months or more of specialized experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand during entire shift excluding meal and rest periods
  • Ability to move and lift 55 pounds
  • Ability to bend and twist at waist and knees consistently
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members
  • Ability to perform cooperative work activities following instructions

Job Duties

  • Follow instructions of supervisors and assist team members in store functions
  • Assist in training store team members
  • Demonstrate consultative behaviors to understand customer needs
  • Provide expertise in printing, signs and graphics, and shipping products
  • Recommend appropriate FedEx Office products and services
  • Resolve customer problems quickly and satisfactorily
  • Take complex customer orders and provide pricing information
  • Assemble parcels and prepare goods for shipping
  • Set up and operate printing and binding equipment
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly retail store
  • Ensure confidentiality of customer data
  • Process financial transactions including handling cash
  • Clean, repair, and stock store equipment and supplies
  • Maintain store merchandising and proper product displays
  • Take actions to prevent errors and waste
  • Complete financial paperwork and assist with reporting
  • Follow standard operating procedures and policies
  • Perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Seek opportunities to improve knowledge and skills
  • Operate with minimal supervision
  • Adhere to team member and store standards
