Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • 6+ months of specialized experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand for entire shift excluding meal and rest periods
  • Ability to move and lift 55 pounds
  • Ability to bend and twist at waist and knees consistently
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members
  • Ability to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment under substantial pressure
  • Ability to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to report regularly to work and maintain established business hours to support FedEx Office business

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • At least 6 months of specialized experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to operate printing, binding, and other related equipment
  • Strong customer service and consultative skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
  • Basic proficiency with point of sale (POS) systems
  • Understanding of retail merchandising and inventory management
  • Ability to handle financial transactions accurately
  • Knowledge of safety and security policies in a retail environment

Job Duties

  • Follow instructions of supervisors and assist other team members in performing store functions
  • Assist in the training of store team members
  • Demonstrate consultative behaviors in a retail environment to understand each customer's individualized need
  • Provide customer expertise in printing, signs and graphics and shipping product lines and recommend appropriate FedEx Office products and services
  • Provide an outstanding customer service experience by anticipating customer needs, suggesting alternatives, and finding solutions
  • Resolve customer problems quickly and to the customer's satisfaction
  • Take complex customer orders using order systems and provide accurate pricing information
  • Assemble parcels and prepare goods for shipping by wrapping, weighing, and labeling packages
  • Set up and operate printing, binding, and other related equipment using customer-supplied media
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly retail store
  • Ensure confidentiality of customer data and proper handling of documents and packages
  • Process financial transactions including cash handling using POS terminal
  • Clean, repair, and stock retail store printing and shipping equipment and supplies
  • Stay current on retail store merchandising materials and ensure proper product display
  • Take preemptive action to prevent errors and waste
  • Complete required financial paperwork and assist with financial reporting
  • Follow FedEx Office standard operating procedures and adhere to all company policies and guidelines
  • Perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Seek opportunities to improve knowledge and skills
  • Operate with minimal supervision
  • Adhere to all FedEx Office team member and retail store standards
  • Perform all other duties as needed or required
