Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • six or more months of specialized experience
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to stand for entire shift excluding breaks
  • ability to move and lift up to 55 pounds
  • consistent ability to bend and twist at waist and knees
  • consistent effective communication with customers, vendors, and team members
  • ability to cooperate and follow instruction consistently
  • ability to perform under substantial pressure
  • ability to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods
  • ability to work with minimal supervision
  • ability to report to work regularly and maintain established business hours

Job Qualifications

  • at least six months of specialized experience

  • ability to operate printing and shipping equipment
  • strong customer service and consultative skills
  • ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • knowledge of retail operations and merchandising
  • understanding of financial transaction processing
  • ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Follow instructions of supervisors and assist other team members in performing store functions
  • assist in the training of store team members
  • demonstrate consultative behaviors to understand each customer’s individualized needs
  • provide customer expertise in printing, signs and graphics, and shipping product lines
  • recommend appropriate FedEx Office products and services
  • provide outstanding customer service by anticipating needs, suggesting alternatives, and finding solutions
  • resolve customer problems quickly and satisfactorily
  • take complex customer orders and provide accurate pricing
  • assemble parcels and prepare goods for shipping
  • operate printing, binding, and related equipment
  • maintain a safe, clean, and orderly store
  • ensure confidentiality of customer data and proper handling of documents and packages
  • process financial transactions including cash handling
  • clean, repair, and stock store equipment and supplies
  • display merchandising materials properly
  • take preemptive action to prevent errors and waste
  • complete required financial paperwork
  • adhere to FedEx Office standard operating procedures
  • perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • work with minimal supervision
  • follow all team member and store standards
  • perform all other duties as needed
