Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Six months or more of specialized experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand during entire shift excluding breaks
  • Ability to move and lift 55 pounds
  • Ability to bend and twist at waist and knees regularly
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members
  • Ability to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction

Job Duties

  • Follow instructions of supervisors and assist other team members in performing store functions
  • Assist in training of store team members
  • Demonstrate consultative behaviors in a retail environment to understand customer needs
  • Provide expertise in printing, signs and graphics, and shipping product lines
  • Recommend appropriate FedEx Office products and services
  • Resolve customer problems quickly and satisfactorily
  • Take complex customer orders using order systems and provide accurate pricing information
  • Assemble parcels and prepare goods for shipping including wrapping, weighing, and labeling
  • Set up and operate printing, binding, and related equipment
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly retail store
  • Ensure confidentiality of customer data and handle documents and packages carefully
  • Process financial transactions using Point of Sale terminal
  • Clean, repair, and stock retail store equipment and supplies
  • Ensure proper display of retail products and signage
  • Take preemptive actions to prevent errors and waste
  • Complete required financial paperwork and assist with financial reporting
  • Follow company standard operating procedures and adhere to legal, safety, and security policies
  • Perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Seek opportunities to improve knowledge and skills
  • Operate with minimal supervision
  • Adhere to team member and retail store standards
  • Perform additional duties as needed or required
