Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous retail experience preferred
- ability to lead and manage a team
- strong interpersonal skills
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings
- physical ability to stand for long periods and perform lifting and stocking tasks
- compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements
- willingness to participate in training and development
- must be able to work in a public retail environment
- ability to follow company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Retail management experience preferred
- strong leadership and team management skills
- excellent customer service and communication abilities
- ability to plan and execute store events
- knowledge of omnichannel retail processes
- experience with inventory and shrink management
- ability to train and develop team members
- ability to handle cash reconciliation and bank deposits
- ability to work effectively as Manager on Duty
- strong problem-solving skills
- physical ability to perform retail store tasks
- proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail software preferred
Job Duties
- Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements
- ensure execution of Company policies and standards
- hold them accountable for store conditions and results
- ensure all front end policies and procedures are followed
- achieve your KPIs and manage your team to achieve their role KPIs
- plan and lead the execution of class and in-store events in accordance with Company programs
- lead the omnichannel processes
- manage and execute shrink and safety programs
- assist with cash reconciliation and bank deposits
- assist with inventory processes to include Return to Vendor and Advance Shipping Notice activities as needed
- assist with the onboarding of new Team Members
- train, observe, and coach the customer experience team to achieve results
- participate in the performance management process
- support Talent Development of your team
- serve as Manager on Duty
- interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner
- acknowledge customers, help locate the product and provide solutions
- participate in truck unloading and stocking processes
- cross train in Custom Framing selling and production
- manage and execute shrink and safety programs
- lead the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions in select stores
- perform other duties as assigned
