Job Requirements
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to effectively communicate and present information to customers, peers, and management
- Resourceful and adaptable to changing priorities
- At least 2 years of selling or customer experience preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders
- Must frequently use computers and handheld technology to perform job functions including cash register transactions
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of selling or customer service experience preferred
- Good understanding of product knowledge and ability to guide customers based on their preferences
- Comfortable communicating with customers virtually, via phone, and in person
- Ability to build customer relationships and achieve sales goals
- Proficient in using point of sale technology and related applications
- Self-driven to pursue continuous learning and stay updated on product trends and company training
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and management
- Adaptability to changing priorities and resourcefulness in problem-solving
Job Duties
- Provide an exceptional customer experience by selling merchandise and meeting customer needs in-store or virtually
- Assist customers by making product recommendations focusing on size, fit, and style using product knowledge and digital resources
- Engage and interact with customers to build and grow client relationships using outreach tools such as My Client and social media
- Develop and maintain relationships with peers and store leadership to solve problems and enhance customer experience
- Use POS systems, client acquisition tools, and other store technology including tablets, smartphones, and apps
- Partner with store teams, vendors, and community partners to develop and host virtual and in-store sales events
- Maintain selling floor presentation by following company merchandise directives and ensuring fitting rooms are customer-ready
- Receive, unpack, and set up new merchandise according to visual guidelines
- Reconfigure store fixtures for new layouts and themes
- Perform store opening and closing procedures including alarm system access and register settlement
- Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships with colleagues, customers, and communities
