Job Requirements

  • Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present information to customers, peers, and management
  • Resourceful and adaptable to changing priorities
  • At least 2 years of selling or customer experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders
  • Must frequently use computers and handheld technology to perform job functions including cash register transactions

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of selling or customer service experience preferred
  • Good understanding of product knowledge and ability to guide customers based on their preferences
  • Comfortable communicating with customers virtually, via phone, and in person
  • Ability to build customer relationships and achieve sales goals
  • Proficient in using point of sale technology and related applications
  • Self-driven to pursue continuous learning and stay updated on product trends and company training
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and management
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and resourcefulness in problem-solving

Job Duties

  • Provide an exceptional customer experience by selling merchandise and meeting customer needs in-store or virtually
  • Assist customers by making product recommendations focusing on size, fit, and style using product knowledge and digital resources
  • Engage and interact with customers to build and grow client relationships using outreach tools such as My Client and social media
  • Develop and maintain relationships with peers and store leadership to solve problems and enhance customer experience
  • Use POS systems, client acquisition tools, and other store technology including tablets, smartphones, and apps
  • Partner with store teams, vendors, and community partners to develop and host virtual and in-store sales events
  • Maintain selling floor presentation by following company merchandise directives and ensuring fitting rooms are customer-ready
  • Receive, unpack, and set up new merchandise according to visual guidelines
  • Reconfigure store fixtures for new layouts and themes
  • Perform store opening and closing procedures including alarm system access and register settlement
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships with colleagues, customers, and communities
