Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Basic math skills with addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions
- Above-average computer skills including Microsoft Suite and POS systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED

- Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions and correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using American money and measurement units
- Ability to follow detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Above-average knowledge of Microsoft Suite, CRM systems, Point of Sale systems, and Internet software
Job Duties
- Handle all customer needs and issues to ensure satisfaction
- Accurately process sales, returns, layaways, and special orders through the POS system
- Perform accurate data entry of all firearm sales according to ATF guidelines
- Communicate effectively with management regarding issues
- Promote a positive culture within the department and store
- Answer incoming phone calls and route them to appropriate departments
- Operate the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) licensing system
- Examine merchandise to ensure correct pricing, display, and functionality
- Process and receive payments and issue receipts to customers
- Provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers, responding to inquiries and complaints
- Assist with inventory movement between warehouse and sales floor
- Perform cleaning and organizing shelves and displays
- Enforce safety, health, and security rules
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
