Job Duties
- work with the team to ensure the salesfloor stays runway ready through re-merchandising and straightening
- assist customers with transactions across in-store, online, and mobile platforms including operating point-of-sale systems
- create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting and assisting customers and returning clothing
- maintain a clean and clutter-free sales floor by sorting and returning merchandise
- keep stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is checked in and ticketed accurately
- demonstrate expertise in all store technologies
- adhere to operational, merchandise, and asset protection standards
- promote initiatives like the Nordstrom Rewards program
- receive, unload, and deliver merchandise to selling departments
- fulfill and ship customer orders following quality and packing standards
- utilize inventory management systems for scanning and processing shipments
- provide general store support such as setting up special events and relocating fixtures
