Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior retail or customer service experience beneficial
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds regularly
- stock and fulfillment roles require frequently lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
- reliable and punctual
- legal eligibility to work in the United States

Job Duties
- work with the team to ensure the salesfloor stays runway ready through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day
- assist customers during cashiering transactions across in-store, online, and mobile platforms using point-of-sale systems
- create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting and assisting customers and sorting clothing
- maintain a clean and clutter-free customer experience by sorting and returning clothing to salesfloor
- keep stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is accurately checked in and ticketed
- demonstrate expertise in store technologies
- adhere to operational, merchandise and asset protection standards
- promote initiatives like the Nordstrom Rewards program
- receive, unload, unpack and deliver merchandise to selling departments
- fulfill customer orders promptly following quality standards
- prepare and ship customer orders adhering to packing and shipping guidelines
- utilize inventory systems to scan, process and research merchandise shipments
- assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
- provide general support such as setting up events, organizing backroom, markdowns, and relocating fixtures
