Job Requirements
- must be at least 21 years of age
- no high school diploma or GED required
- ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- ability to stand for the entire length of the shift
- ability to climb stairs and step stool frequently
- visual acuity sufficient to distinguish merchandise and operate the point-of-sale system
Job Qualifications
- previous experience in a retail environment
- customer service experience required
- ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- ability to accurately handle money and count change
- experience working with point-of-sale systems and processing non-cash transactions
Job Duties
- greet guests, answer questions, and assist whenever possible
- process sales with the point of sale system and bag merchandise
- maintain records related to sales
- routinely stock merchandise and maintain back-stock
- verify the amount of bank at the beginning and end of each shift
