Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds for stock support or fulfillment roles
- Flexibility to work a schedule based on business needs including weekends, holidays and evenings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic proficiency with technology and inventory management systems
- Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods during shifts

Job Duties
- Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers and assisting with fitting rooms
- Motivate and inspire others to adopt initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program
- Keep stockrooms organized and complete all inventory processes with accurate check-in and ticketing
- Ensure sales floor stays "runway ready" through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day
- Assist customers with a variety of transactions through a seamless and friendly experience
- Demonstrate expertise in all technologies used in the store environment
- Defuse customer situations and provide timely and effective resolutions
- Receive, unload freight, unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments
- Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards
- Prepare and ship customer orders following quality, packing and shipping standards
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process and research merchandise shipments
- Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
- Provide general support to the store such as setting up special events, organizing backroom, markdowns, and relocating store fixtures
