Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Familiarity with inventory management systems a plus
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Basic technology proficiency for handling store-related software and tools
- Ability to handle customer interactions with patience and professionalism
Job Duties
- Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers and managing fitting rooms
- Motivate and inspire others to adopt initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program
- Keep stockrooms organized and complete all inventory processes including checking in and ticketing merchandise accurately
- Ensure the sales floor remains runway ready through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day
- Assist customers with various transactions while providing a seamless and friendly experience
- Demonstrate expertise in all store technologies used
- Defuse customer situations and provide timely, effective resolutions
- Receive, unload, unpack, and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments
- Fulfill customer orders promptly following quality standards
- Prepare and ship customer orders adhering to packing and shipping standards
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments according to inventory control protocols
- Assist in maintaining clean, organized selling floors and stockrooms
- Provide general store support such as setting up special events, organizing backrooms, performing markdowns, and relocating store fixtures
