Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to lift 25+ pounds
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to operate cash register and point-of-sale systems
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Ability to work in various temperature environments
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior customer service experience a plus but not required
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to fast-paced environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well within a team
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Willingness to cross-train and take on additional responsibilities
Job Duties
- General customer service duties including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs
- Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following state and local laws
- Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products
- Responsibility for cleaning direct working area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs
- Additional duties could include cross training in departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles
- Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds
- Ability to work in various temperatures
