Job Requirements
- Ability to lift 25 pounds or more
- ability to work in various temperature conditions
- flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays
- willingness to provide friendly and fast customer service
- ability to operate cash registers and handle transactions
- no prior experience required, training provided
- must comply with all state and local laws regarding sales
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous retail or customer service experience advantageous but not required
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to handle transactions accurately
- basic knowledge of food safety protocols
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
- willingness to learn and cross train in multiple areas
Job Duties
- Provide general customer service including helping customers find items
- answer questions about products and services
- address customer needs
- balance cash register and handle customer transactions
- offer additional sales opportunities
- ensure proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products
- clean work area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, fuel pumps, and complete trash runs
- cross train in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles
- lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures
